i have the amazing opportunity to work on BYU's student short animation this year, Estefan! it's a film about the greatest hair dresser in the world, an his dealings with a...difficult client. i'm on the style team as part of the design team. it's lots of work to be a concept artist, and i'm loving it! above are early ideas for our title character.
(doing an object render at the moment; doesn't take as long, but still gives me enough time for a comment... ; )
ReplyDeletethe super-long+thin legged estefan! never really sold me; i quite like your numero 2 in the series.
and i actually like the fifth short little guy, too. it would certainly change some of the style of the story, but i think it's a dang design just the same.
